Incidentally I had an email from Dr. Bernarr this morning re: gallstones and
gallbladder attacks. I am not sure I can afford to call him and my husband
is a bit skeptical of him.

Fasting would be my first choice but I just fasted in June. However I
foolishly used some honey. The concern with fasting is my thyroid and
adrenals. After the 17 day fast, despite taking thyroid meds, my free T3 was
quite low.

Inflammation.
" Always preceding the formation of gallstones, there is chronic
inflammation of the gall ducts, this causing a change in the bile which
results in the crystallization into stones of its solid portions. The
stones may form anywhere in the bile passages where there is stasis of
the bile. The most common place for their formation is in the
gallbladder which serves as a storage place for the bile between meals.
The real disease in gallstones is not the stones, which are byproducts,
but inflammation of the bile passages and the gallbladder."

I would take Dr. Bernarr's advice first, and call him if necessary
before trying much more expen$ive docs and risky surgery.
