Ben, I think that you are correct in your appraisal. There are indeed
numerous folks on this list with specialized knowledge and skills, and
some certainly have accredited degrees/qualifications in pertinent fields
of study. Yet virtually everyone, excepting this spurious-seeming "Dr. B--,"
allows their individual ideas to speak for themselves, without resorting
to adding titles or letters after their names to add credence to their
views.

I have personally enjoyed and benefitted greatly from the shared opinions
of others on the list. I have applied some to my personal WOE, and totally
rejected other ideas as not gemane to my situation. I have pondered the
concepts of ethics and spirituality associated with my eating behavior, and
have thereby advanced as a result
. In this regard especially, my personal
disagreement with some people's views has helped me to better clarify
my own. It is worth protecting the precious freedom to communicate with one
another in a forum like this by promptly surfacing and exposing dishonesty.
