Hey, if you are grossly overweight, observably unhealthy, and suffering the
sorts of self-esteem problems that being helpless and ignorant of what to
do to change frequently cause, what sort of useful, positive, sympathetic
partners might YOU be likely to attract?
It could just possibly be that a woman like Dori wants to meet her partners
halfway, contributing just that sort of aesthetic pleasure and enthusiasm
that comes along with health. That is the sort of sexuality one can be
proud of achieving, and anything less is below a personal standard. There
aren't many healthy women who are proud of being 2
a.m.-when-the-bars-close-f*ckable.
If you are whole and happy, you will be just as attractive at 60. If
you're not, you still won't be. It's NEVER only for your body unless that's
all you think you're worth. But a man - or woman - worth having as a friend
and partner should be able to appreciate your body too, and to have that
particular appreciation understood for its own value. It's no good daring
people to like you.
