I started here in the spring of 2001 about the time I converted to the 
paleodiet. I don't post much as I tend to be severely behind in the reading.

I enjoyed meeting Jeane-Claude IRL once at a party in Portland, Oregon, 
undoubtedly in July of 2003. We talked quite a bit and I found him very 
well-informed and even more entertaining in person with the heavy french accent though I 
did not always understand what he saying. He did not eat any of the egg salad 
(complete with paleo-mayo) that I brought to the party of course because he is 
raw-paleo.
