Recent studies have confirmed a link between exposure to bovine insulin
found in cows milk to juvinile diabetes.  The antibodies produced in
responce to this exposure cause the immune system to attack the human
insulin producing cells in the pancreas.

This link has been suspected for a long time and has also recently been
confirmed by long term studies in Finland.
