My apologies.  My inference was based on the statement, on page
16, "After consulting with several doctors, it was determined
that I was a diabetic and would probably require insulin
injections for the rest of my life."  I mistakenly inferred that
the regimen of insulin injections had already begun.  In any
case, it appears that your insulin production was significantly
compromised.
