Which brings to mind a question I've had for a while: has anyone seen their
numbers get worse eating this way?

Hi Anne,

I should clarify that I have not been eating Paleo the entire 8 or 9 years.
I started out with more of an Atkins approach and was using a lot of
artificial sweeteners and eating 'low carb' protein bars. I switched to a
more strict (but not 100%) Paleo way of eating about 2 or 3 years ago.
