Hi Jim - Thanks for the reply. I'm not diabetic so I wouldn't have
the same problem. But I am planning to start on Monday and this week
I have been drinking caffeine, eating sugar and other carbs like
crazy - don't seem to be able to stop. So I do anticipate some
serious withdrawal symptoms.

One of the big reasons I want to eat this way is to lose weight - I
shudder to think how much I'm gaining this week, with my
out-of-control eating - and I do consider myself a carb addict and I
believe that the only way I can keep from overdoing it is to cut them
out altogether, like a drug addict with her drug. Cuz that's what it
is for me.

I might also say that I have a headache, heartburn and brain fog. I
*know* I'll feel way better once I start this WOL - after I get
through the withdrawal period.
