Thanks for your post clarifying topics. Thank you for all the work you and Don have
done to maintain  this list. I'm sorry that everyone does not get what on-topic is,
even since your post there's been more off-topic issues posted. It seems like folks
don't get that it takes work to maintain the list, and that the volume of off-topic
subjects creates more work, it's not simply a matter of volume in the member's
mailboxes. Perhaps those who want an open-ended list could create their own, or at
least  continue their off-topic issues privately. This list has been going for
years with this focused topic, and works quite well. Thanks again for your work
