Rainah,

I agree with the others who have mentioned the possibility of food
allergies. While I was transitioning to a paleodiet, beef seemed like a
wonder food that filled me with energy. A couple of months later, I
noticed (but tried to deny for several months) that my old symptoms of
fatigue, brain fog, and itchiness were returning, seemingly triggered by
eating beef. Poultry of all kinds, especially chicken, are problematic
for me as well. I would like to try some wild game or meat from 100%
naturally raised animals sometime, to find out for certain whether it is
the meat itself that is causing the symptoms.

Like most of the chronically ill, you have a leaky gut, which means that
a relatively large amount of dietary peptides enter your bloodstream,
which can lead to allergies.
