my weight IS dropping. The REALLY noticeable improvement in my life,
though, is that my heartburn is almost completely gone. This is something I
have suffered with EVERY DAY for YEARS. It's amazing to me to eat
something, and not have my esophagus on fire 30 minutes later.

Welcome to paleo eating, Janice. I believe that many of us have what I will
call for lack of a better phrase "food intolerances." They could be
allergies or not, who knows, they could be "foreign proteins", but I know
this: heartburn is a frequent symptom. So is inflammation of the bowel and
irritable bowels. Sneezing and asthma are symptoms for many. Glad you are
feeling better.
