Even a sparse field could have 100 pounds of mice per acre.
My Dog will not tolerate mice;  He catches them better than
any Cat.  He scares them out of woodpiles where they would
be quite safe if they just sat quietly.  His ancestors came
to the USA recently from Germany.

So how can you make such a test - where is this lush
"mouseless field"?
In Antarctica?
