That's it though - if Cordain's book HAD informed of the science then the
fitness industry would understand it OR, at least, those who are new to the
theory could at least have the chance to review the rationale. I wouldn't
classify myself a paleo and I did not read the book, but I think it might be
a downgrade in an attempt to sell to the mass market. It probably should
have been more thoroughly written.

What?? You have not read the book but you are dismissing the book as
unscientific??  It is loaded with science albeit tempered to a lay audience;
did you miss the reference to the fact that there are 20 pages of cites to
the peer literature?  Why is there anything wrong with writing a book for
the mass market?? Is that what you are saying or am I missing something?
