Hi everybody,
excuse me if my questions may appear naive or something, but I'm kinda new
to the paleo game...

as I said before I am a type 1 diabetic and I'm tryng to make my body run on
fat rather than sugar. Problem is, if I don't eat enough fat, the liver
starts immediately to release sugar, which causes my blood glucose to
increase over the limit due to the lack of self-produced insulin.

Is there a way to calculate the minimum amount of fat needed, say, per kg of
weight per day?

Another problem is that I need to eat fat whith every meal in order to keep
the BG in check and avoid insulin, so what I'm looking for is a "portable"
form of fat that I can always count on. Pemmican works, but it's too
complicated. I heard coconut oil is ok, but I can't find it in shops. What
else can I use? Butter? Heavy cream I tried but it doesn't work very well.

Thanks!
