We eat most fruit raw and a lot of veges boiled, sometimes fried.

I suspect your drink contains milo. Milo is an American word for sorghum.
I've seen it on pictures on a site - to me it looks like millet.

I'm sad to say that most swedes have never heard of angelica (Sw: kvanne)
let alone eaten it. It grows in the arctic area and most of us don't live
there. I used to have it as a curiosity in my garden but not now. It's very
sour and has a somewhat bitter taste.
