Canned veggies and canned fish are often inexpensive!

Fresh Beets cost  1.50  to  2.00 for  three fresh (?) beets.
however a  16 oz can of beets is 0.50 on sale.

The cheap canned beet have a lot of added salt,  the  fresh
(when?) beets have good tops ---sometimes.

Question?????/

If  I  buy the  canned beets and pour the juice/water off
how would that change the sodium (salt)  content.
