Ok, now I'm confused.  Did I read Ray's book wrong or what?
I thought most of these "starchy tubers" were out as they
cannot be eaten raw. I know carrots are ok as they can be
eaten right out of the ground, but don't you have to cook
yams, sweet pots, turnips and beets?  Be nice if I could
have my beets back as I really like them.....
