Hi All,

I have been having problems with my blood sugar jumping up pretty high
fairly easily. Yesterday I tracked it throughout the day and wanted to get
ya'lls take on it.

Yesterday

5:50 AM - 96 - 1 small cup organic decaf, water, finished decaf around 6:15
AM

7:15 AM - 89

8:15 AM - 90

11:00 AM - 1 tablespoon coconut oil, 2 cloves garlic in clear broth

12:00 PM - 96

2:00 PM - 89 - 1 medium urkey thigh (baked) with skin, celtic sea salt and
extra turkey fat (about 3 T); finished eating around 2:30 PM

5:00 PM - 109

7:00 PM - Another turkey thigh

9:00 PM - 101 - About 1/2 ounce lamb pemmican

This morning:

5:30 AM - 98 - A few sips of organic decaf

6:45 AM - 2.5 ounces lamb pemmican, 1 T lamb fat

9:00 AM - 107

It seems that even eating just protein and fat raises my blood sugar quite a
bit or is a jump from 89 to 109 after eating a turkey thigh considered
"normal". My goal was to eat just once or twice a day, but I am so hungry
some days, like today, I just can't stand it. Do I just need to push through
the hunger and have one meal in the evening?

I should add that the first morning readings are NOT taken before getting
out of bed. This is after getting up, walking downstairs, going to the
bathroom, and brushing my teeth. I know there is something called the dawn
phenomenon with low carbers. But I am more concerned with it going up quite
a bit.

I would appreciate any feedback and input on what might help to keep my
blood sugar one, more stable, and two, lower overall.

Thank you,

Kristina
