Thanks, Jim; I'll look forward to reading your recommended book.

The book which to me makes the most sense and "rocked my world" is
"The Paleo Solution: The Original Human Diet" by Robb Wolff -

(which I'm sure many on this blog have read.)

His website, with regular podcasts answering paleo questions thrown out by his readers,
is such a blast as well.

His research and science seem impeccable, and he's so entertaining in his approach.
Salt is not part of his paleo plan, though if it were a deal-breaker, or a bit of vinegar
was a deal-breaker for people not giving his suggestions a chance, he'd overlook it.

  Jim says:

Just one small example of one gem. Do you experience fatigue when low
carbing, lack of energy? The answer is salt. Salt. I've experienced
zero fatigue or headache on the highly restrictive low carb
experiement I began on Tuesday morning. (I'm doing very well on that,
by the way. More details later).

But 99% of this book is simply revolutionary. Read it.
