Hi Everyone,

Thought I would introduce myself as well. I have just started paleo eating,
and I am wanting to lose a significant amount of weight. I would really
appreciate any advice all of you have.
I am waiting for my copy of the Neaderthin book to arrive and have read what
I have found on the web.

This way of eating feels right and it sure makes sense. For years I have
tried to follow the general advice to eat low food/high carb. diet - and can
never do it for long. I just get feeling sick, low energy etc.

I have a unique challenge with the paleo way of eating: My job includes a
lot of traveling, two to three weeks a month usually. Most of the travel is
by plane and I end up in very remote parts of Alaska and Canada, as well as
urban communities. It is hard to plan ahead.
I did have a paleo experience in a tundra community recently, when I was
served Musk Ox. Very tender.

I would appreciate any advice from those of you who have or are in the
process of losing weight.

Thanks is advance,

Deb

Subject: [P-F] New to the list

Hi everyone, my name is Trish. I am new to the list and to the diet. I
have done lowcarb, but not paleo, I am looking forward to getting
started. I look forward to reading everyone's posts and learning a new
way of eating. I am presently weighing in at 240lbs and have a goal
weight of 150. I officially start the diet tomorrow, shopped today for
it.
