I agree, that *was* inappropriate, but Paul's response

to my post seemed so out of place and unnecessarily
hostile that
I couldn't help myself.

Paul,

You did say in your last response that the Internet
can be misleading. Maybe you really have misread
my previous posts. If that is the case, I encourage
you to re-read them more objectively, or else just
take my word for it --- your accusations that I am
pro-carb are utterly absurd. I've been on the paleo
diet for some time now, and all I eat are meat, fish,
fruit, veggies and nuts.

Also, in all seriousness, why would my initial posting

on this thread have inspired such anger in you? I
state a "fact"
(which I identify as an urban legend), a "fact" many
people
happen to believe and to quote. I politely ask for
help
in finding a reputable source that would discredit
that legend.
You responded 1) very angrily and 2) as though I were
trying to
convince people of that fact myself. Why would you do
this?

I'm actually asking seriously now. This list is about
being able to ask for information and have open
discussions.
I would like to be able to use it for that without
encoutering hostility for no reason.

To a more peaceful future....

Sincerely,
L
