Just another naive question perhaps, but is not smoke itself fairly
dangerous to ingest either as cigarettes or as say smoke lodged in
smoked meats?  I realize our ancestors did this, but only after they
started to use fire.  Prior to that I expect that they sun dried things.
( just guessing)

I suppose in some ways this takes us back to eating things raw or
perhaps cooking as fast as we can without flames via microwave...
although that bothers me too.  All those atoms buzzing about like that
makes me concerned.  Think I will just stick to raw stuff.
