It won't be up on their web site 'til later, but there is a wonderful
pro-paleo opinion piece on the Sunday Oregonian's commentary page. It
is very well written, with a very nice, brief explication of the
paleo-diet premise. It is written by someone in her 70s who reports the
success of her son, as well as her own 50 lb wt loss and mobility
recovery. It cites Protein Power, not Neanderthin, as a modern
reference. It also cites several historic sources. It is part of a
point/counterpoint pairing with an opposing article by an MD.

I would consider it worth writing to them to thank them for allowing an
explanation of the idea unencumbered by reporter or editor bias. One
knows how rare that is!

Look for link to Op-Ed from -- http://www.oregonlive.com/news/
Article probably won't be posted there 'til late Sunday. They don't like
to give it away until they figure they're through selling 'em on the
street.
