Do you mean with arsenic the same stuff, that makes almonds sometimes
bitter ones? When avoiding bitter ones, can you give an idea which amounts
of the arsenic in almonds could be considered to begin a toxic effect?

For breakfasts, my experience is, that they make an excellent breakfast,
satisfying for a long time. Zero processing time, and easily transported.
(For coffe addicts - they taste delicious with coffee).

I take really only a handfull or two, might be about 50 grams.

Search for something similar AND low acid will be a hard time.
I know millet, also low acid and with a interesting history.
But for purists it won't do and it has considerable carbohydrates.
An interesting reading about paleo seeds is on
http://www.naturalhub.com/natural_food_guide_grains_beans_seeds.htm

Other low acid will only be vegetables or fruit.
(today i take 2 small fennels -raw- with me).
