For any paleos in need of more variety <g>

Scientists in Peru are breeding extra-large Guinea pigs hoping to export
them for consumption:

Sadly, it seems that they are breeding them to be low-fat.

Anyone here eaten any kind of rodent in the past? I haven't, through lack
of opportunity, but I'm curious as ever and would be interested to hear
what rodents taste like.

Cheers,

Persephone
