Hi Don and Patty,

>How could celiac disease be the cause? According to Joseph Murray, MD, one
>of the leading celiac researchers in the US, "For young untreated celiac
>girls, the onset of menarche can be delayed. Like so many other symptoms,
>these problems are caused by malabsorption. "

Just because early menarche has not been listed as a symptom of CD, doesn't
mean that it isn't a symptom, don't you think?
Being overweight didn't used to be a symptom either until recently.
I stopped my period completely from the age of 16-22, another symptom of
celiac disease.

All the best,
Susan
