Thanks, everyone who wrote. My husband, who had had a gallbladder attack
earlier this month, is feeling better.  He has decided to go ahead and have
the cholecystectomy, as so many people we know have told him that he'll be
much better off without it.  I have somewhat mixed feelings about the
surgery; however, it's his gallbladder, and he was the one who was in agony,
not me, so I respect his decision.  In fact, I may have better odds of
increasing his interest in paleo and good fats when he doesn't have the
"Gallbladder of Damocles" hanging over his head! ;-)
