What is wrong with Omega 6 oils?

I have recently been eating paleo type diet for 3 months - previous to that
a long time as a vegetarian.  I have had chronic dry skin for a long time -
including dry chaffed lips.  Has anyone overcome this problem on the paleo
diet?
