This article was unclear about how much meat they were getting
(a milk blood mixture being one of the staples of their diet),
and the recent drought there killed off a lot of their cattle.
Recent malnourishment came from not getting enough food,
not from following their traditional diet.

In any case, if anyone goes to Kenya to check it out they
might want to go the the Carnivore Restaurant
