Some stores carry "fresh side pork". It is the same cut as bacon but
without anything added. You can flavor it any way you like; sage is
great with pork.

I recently found a brand of bacon called Gwaltney's that is made
without
any form of sugar. It does have sodium nitrate and and two other
sodium
ingredients though. I get it at Wal-Mart.
