Thank you Amadeus for the clarification,, I erred when referring to the
Neanderthals.
It was not the "species" lol, that I was referring to so much as the region
in France that
they are named after.  Artifacts and cave drawings have been found in Spain
that are
as old as some seen in France, and those are considered some of the oldest,
but
those were of Cro-Magnon....NOT Neanderthals.
