In the presence of carbohydrates, or in the presence of glucose? The
distinction is vital to this debate...

As for satiation... when I eat carbs, I NEVER get a sense of satiation...
(unless you call "physically stuffed to the gills, satiated), but when I
don't eat carbs, I get a strong and distinct feeling of satiety. I have
also dropped from a 50"waist to 36" and a body composition of 18% BF
(excellent for a sedentary man at age 47), and I've easily maintained
that for 3 years now...

Migraines? I have a long history, and was on medication for years
before starting LC. I dropped the meds 4 years ago (after about a year
on LC), and while I still get migraines, they are far less frequent, and
mostly less severe than before.

Depression? I was depressed before, and I'm still depressed, but it's
much less of a load now that LC has made my life so much better in so
many ways.

Oh, and ask me about ulcers, heartburn, and gastric reflux... go ahead...
I dare you... :-)
