Yesterday, Don met a man who'd lost 100 pounds (!) in TWO months on the Atkins diet.  The
guy weighed 400 pounds (now 300 pounds :))  The guy said he'd been seeing a lot of
articles saying how dangerous high protein diets were in magazines, newspapers, all over
the place!  The guy went to his doctor for blood work and everything looks great.  He was
relieved.   His doctor was impressed.  What other diets have such a track record for
helping people control their appetites long enough to create major calorie deficits and
lose that kind of weight (without eating up massive amounts of muscle and looking like a
saggy skin bag)?
