While I agree that zero-carbers do seem to be somewhat predominant here , I think that's more to do with the fact that Gary Taubes published his VLC/ZC book relatively recently. Basically, the palaeolithic diet is, to some extent, determined by the latest palaeo book written by some guru(before it was Audette, then Cordain and then Eades, I believe, in that order). No doubt, in a couple of years, there'll be another fad and we'll be told by another author about some other dietary combination, which will in turn dominate the list's threads.

As regards cooked palaeolithic diet forums, there are some others around. However, currently, they seem to be more high-fat-oriented, though they appear to be not ZC-oriented, last I checked):-

http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/CaveManFood/ (this isn't really palaeo as the owner is a weston-price(dairy) fan etc. Not recommended at all).

Personally, I found it best to start 2 (rawpalaeo) groups of my own accord(with other co-owners, of course). That way, everyone gets wider choices.
