I searched MedLine for cases of vitamin A toxicity; sure enough, there
were
quite a few of them. However, almost all of them described patients
who had
taken vitamin A supplements (with the exception of one article that
mentioned "fish liver curry" in its title; no abstract was available).
How
common is hypervitaminosis A among people who are not taking
supplements?
Have there been any studies of individual differences in vitamin A
tolerance?

Cheers,
