You might want to check out the probable "influence" of Monsanto on the
content of Stossel's piece on organic produce.

Turns out that Dennis Avery, introduced only as "former agriculture
dept. official," is now director of The Hudson Institute's Center for
Global Food Issues.  Evidently, Hudson is under Monsanto's umbrella.
