Not true at all. Cooking hearths (something like Dutch ovens I think)
were the paleo way (meat was roasted in heated rocks). So a crock
pot would actually be a closer way to approximate paleo cooking.

Microwaving meat right can get the same effect much more quickly
and it's one of the healthiest ways to cook meat.
