I got the inspiration from Robert Flahertys film "Moana, Son of the Sun"
(the first film labeled "documentary", filmed in the early twenties)
about traditional culture in an pacific island,  where a young woman
is eating small live rattling fish very delightfully.

I guess insects were eaten alive also. And of course most vegetables.
