While searching for an article to write on about for
my psych class, I found an interesting one that links
diet (read SAD) and illness, both mental and physical.
It is a position paper written by the British Society
for Allergy and Environmental Medicine and the British
Society for Nutritional Medicine. It is in the June
1996 issue of the Journal of Nutritional and
Environmental Medicine. It is a long article, but I
seem to recall that it mentioned a deficiency of some
kind being linked to ADD. The title of the paper is
"Effective nutritional medicine: The application of
nutrition to major health problems" Very good reading
for those who are interested.
