From a brief scanning of this paper, it looks like he's saying that 
you get lots of LA/LNA from food sources. Maybe he's just saying that 
one doesn't need to supplement with flax, rather than that you 
shouldn't get any LA or LNA at all. I haven't had time to study it, so 
if you do get to I'd like to hear what you think. My working 
hypothesis is that, since I don't eat a lot of brains (actually, none 
at all), therefore I need to supplement with krill oil or fish oil. I 
figure I get plenty of LA and LNA from muscle meats--grass fed beef 
and others.
