I have lost about 15 pounds since, mmm, maybe a week before
Thanksgiving. It has been about caloric restriction, and getting
control of eating, pure and simple. I have given up eating lunch. I
have a small breakfast, a decent dinner, and *nothing else*. Nothing.
This morning, for example, I had three boiled eggs, a large handful of
walnuts, and about a half cup of blueberries. And some green tea. I
will not eat again until dinner, at about 6:00. At dinner I'll probably
have a decent portion of roast beef, some steamed veggies, and a sweet
potato or, gasp, even a white potato, with butter. And a glass of wine.
And that will be it for the night. On other days I'll have a leftover
pork chop or whatever for breakfast, with a half grapefruit. Calories
are pretty low, but I find that I'm not hungry, as long as dinner has
enough carb to carry through the brain-drain portion of the evening.
Body temp, amazingly, has remained constant. Also trying to upregulate
my sex life, to increase testosterone levels. Don't know if this makes
any contribution to weight loss, but it's fun.
