Janice's example is a good example of the red herring of modern 
medicine, germ theory rules for the deceived.

We hear that all inorganic metals are poisons. Poisons make sick.
Poisons in a microbial culture likely to make nasty germs.
Ignore poisons, look at nasty germs! So say the teachers.
Wallah! It is so!

Except for those who stop eating opioids (wheat) and brain starts to do 
its thing.
