"It is extremely easy to overeat (processed) foods made with starch, fats, sugars and salt"
(Quoted from Cordains "The Paleo Diet)

I tend to overeat only food-COMBINATIONS of starch, fats, sugars and salt,
like pork rind (fat+salt), potato chips (starch+salt), cake (starch+sugar(+fat)), salted roasted nuts
(fat+salt) , pizza (fat + starch+salt) , chocolate (sugar+fat), ice-cream (fat+sugar), cheese (salt+fat)

In fact snacks and desserts basicly are designed to bypass the normal satiety signals.
Even when homemade (out of paleingredients) such foods are arteficial inventions -
to which we are not adapted.

If I eat starchy, fatty or sweet foods alone, I get a very clear feeling of when I am sated
(weel before I feel stuffed). Examples: boiled starchy vegetables, olive oil , (unsalted) butter
raw nuts and almonds, sweet fresh or dried fruit, honey (honeycomb).
