As far as tubers not being paleo, somewhere I recall seeing a reference
to archeological findings of yam-digging sticks from some hundreds of
thousands of years ago. Ring any bells for anybody? I understand
potatoes not being paleo because of being South or Central American, but
there are plenty of other roots and tubers in the old world, no?
