'and,' not 'or.' as you said these herders were post-agriculturalists, what
crops were they growing?

Actually, strictly speaking, "post-agriculturalist" means someone who used
to be an agriculturist but no longer is.  The milk drinking Britons are more
appropriately described as post-paleolithic.

Thanks for helping me clear up this very important semantic issue.
