I haven't been following this thread very carefully but I can say I once
met a man who was scheduled for surgery and as a last ditch effort to
clear gallstones he went on a tomato juice fast. Within three days he
passed the remains of the stones and his surgeon was dumbfounded because
he thought he had the only soloution.
