General question. Are nightshade plants only found in
the New World? If so, then nightshade plants in
general would be unpaleo by the strictest definition.
If there are nightshades in the Old World, then they
are not necessarily unpaleo, and should not be lumped
into that category automatically. Then they merely
become problematic.

Tobacco (not that I advocate it's use) is certainly
not "true paleo", but it may have relative that were
used by paleos. Much the same as other "drug" plants.
