These are nuts, of course, and have a high fat and protein content, with
some carbo.

The Protein Power Lifeplan Gram Counter lists 1 oz. of raw acorns as having
11.6 gms. of carbs, 1.7 gms. of Protein, and 5.2 gms. of fat. Contrast this
with 1 oz. of unblanched almonds with 2.7 gms. of carbs, 5.7 gms. of
protein, and 11 gms. of fat. The 1.7 gms. of protein does not seem like a
high protein content to me and that carb content seems to be more than just
some.
