I was searching the paleo archives for information about dehydrators, and I
didn't come up with much.  Perhaps I wasn't searching right.  Anyway, I
recently purchased a dehydrator via mail order.  It's made by Ronco.  It
has 5 round plastic trays.  I expected it to have a fan, but it doesn't.
After searching the net, I learned that the better quality ones have fans
and thermostats. Does anyone have experience using one like this?   Will
this kind of dehydrator work, or did I waste my money?   Basically, I want
to make jerky, some dried fruits and vegetables.  Thanks.
