Heh, yeah, I used to hate when my mother boiled zucchini into a bitter mush,
but raw or lightly sauteed it's not that bad.

It's true that it's a New World food, and New World foods have come under
increasing suspicion now that Cordain has shown that other New World foods
that are edible raw--tomatoes and other nightshades--contain potent
antinutrients that cause intestinal permeability and other problems. So I
don't know for sure whether zucchini is Paleo, though I had considered it so
in the past.

It's not a big issue for me these days anyway, as I've discovered that I do
best when I eat mostly meats (including organs) and animal fats.
